About the Group

TSH48 was founded on December 3, 2018, and is a female idol group based primarily in Shanghai, China, active in pop music and idol culture. Formerly known as AKB48 Team SH, the group is an official sister group of AKB48 in China, embracing the core philosophy of "idols you can meet." Through stage performances, music releases, and fan interactions, we grow together with every supporter.

On January 1, 2026, the group was officially renamed TSH48, opening a brand new chapter. We will continue to deliver energetic stage performances, carefully crafted music, and sincere fan interactions, spreading love, courage, and positivity to become a shining force in Chinese idol culture.

Our Vision

In 2018, from over 38,000 applicants, the first-generation members were born after multiple rounds of selection. On December 3 of the same year, the group officially debuted with the digital single "LOVE TRIP," followed by releases such as "First Day," "So long!," "Go! Girls," and "Wind Toward the Future," and launched theater performances. Over the years, we have gone through selections, performances, concerts, general elections, and various fan events, experiencing member changes and growth. In 2026, the group reached an important turning point, entering a new stage. We always uphold the spirit of hard work, humility, and gratitude, striving for our dreams and never giving up.
